Today’s musical selection included but was not limited to: Drivin’ and Cryin’’s Scarred but Smarter, which I think was for the most part good - the guy’s voice is too flat on a lot of songs; Cake’s Comfort Eagle, no doubt suffering from overplay still on pop radio stations; and Portishead roseland live nyc, which I like pretty well. Beth Gibbons has a jazz singer’s voice and it syncretizes well with this electronic/rock/jazz style the group does. The live performance was backed up by a pretty large orchestra as well. Fast times at GaTech High.
