Evelyn

At a doctor’s appointment yesterday wee E., as Nathanael calls her, weighed in at a whole six pounds and twelve ounces, finally overcoming her birth weight. She’s getting so big and can’t seem to shut her eyes. And speaking of anniversaries, ours was July 31, but it seems wee E. has far overshadowed that. We dropped her off at her great-grandparents’ home in Destin Saturday night and went to eat at McGuire’s Irish Pub on a balcony over-looking the bay (well, mostly, but not if they keep putting up blasted high rise condos) and then went to the beach, smoked a cigar, watched the night sky and kept wondering where Evelyn was.

Happy anniversary!

We wanted to walk along the beach on ours, but red tide chased us away. . .

A day without your wee E is like a day without sunshine!
Florida Granddad and I love you three very much.
A blessed Florida Grandmom
