Evelyn and I spent last week at my parents’ home in Minneapolis enjoying the red, orange and yellow trees, grandparents, siblings, and city. Here are some November pictures. Evelyn is 4 months on the 11th of this month! She now smiles like a maniac, shakes rattles, loves playing without clothes on and trashing wildly like a lunatic, and hopping in her Jumpster like a wee elf.

I turned 25 on the 3rd. There’s a trip.

Sarah! It is soo good to find your blog. Hope you guys are doing really well. That baby girl is just gorgeous, and such an amazingly perfect mix of the two of you. In some pictures I really see Sarah and in some I see nothing but Nathanael.
We are sad we won’t see you this weekend at the Advance but our new son’s baptism is this Sunday and my whole family is flying down. So, no can get away! But we should make a special trip sometime soon. Or you can. :-)

It was a delight to photograph wee E. in her darling denim dress & outercoat. It is fin to read of her endeavors. She is growing so big! I am glad I had the opportunity to experience some of the “steps along the way”. It makes me think back to the days of being a “young” parent, and less like being a GrandPa!
But I treasure both, and wouldn’t go back or wish for the greener grass of younger years.
Mom & I enjoy this new found station in life.

We now wish we were able to fly about at will, and visit our kids and their’s at the drop of a hat.

With Love from MN,

GrandDad

OK let’s try this again - I tried leaving a comment earlier and nothing happened.

I think I said that it is great to “see” you and find your blog, and that your daughter is absolutely adorable. She is such a perfect mixture of the two of you. Some pics I see Sarah and some I see only Nathanael.

We will not be coming to the Advance (we really miss it!) because Soren is getting christened on Sunday and my whole family is coming down to our APA church to see it happen. I hope we can make a special trip down there soon (or you can come here!).

Yay! 25 You can officially join the “Mike and Joe are 25″ club. I still think that picture kind of looks like this: You said she was like a wee elf.

You better come home this weekend, baby.

But something tells me you’re not my baby…

Sarah Faith on November 8th, 2005 at 3:11 pm

Hope you enjoyed reading all my back comments. I’m glad I didn’t get frustrated with it not working and, assuming it wouldn’t work again, start typing curse words in the comment box. As, I’m sure, are you. :-) Thanks for researching it and fixing the problem. Talk to you soon!
