EVELYN
We took her to
the beach last night.
She is so little.
The beach is so big.

I posted this on your Xanga blog, forgetting that you don’t actually use that except to post comments. By the way, it appears that we will be able to meet this Friday evening at the Hodges’ home.

Question: Do you and Dave pray the Luminous Mysteries?

I know you weren’t asking me, but here is just some of the reasoning behind not saying the “Mysteries of Light” (besides the fact that they weren’t give by the Blessed Virgin, as the rest were) : http://home.earthlink.net/~slrorer2/Reason.htm.

And, I read somewhere that John Paul toyed with the Stations of the Cross and added a 15 Station? I’ve been trying to find out what it is, but I haven’t been able to yet…do you know?

John Paul II. did not add a XV. Station, though it is not uncommon to find modern parishes who follow this novelty (just as some also create a “new set of Stations”–only fourteen in number, without the Resurrection–but which only include the “biblical stations”, which begin in the Garden–these “bibical 14″ were used by John Paul II. sometime in the early ’90s, I believe, but he certainly didn’t “promulgate” or even approve them for use, such as the Luminous Mysteries). These are, of course, contrary to tradition, just as the Luminous Mysteries are.

I like your poem. :-)
Cheese lasagna / salad/ bread is the menu for Friday. i’m also making spinach crab rolls but of course you do not have to partake of the revolting seafood. :-) I can leave out the crab for some of them if you want, though. :-)

Hope you won’t mind that we are having a crowd for dinner/poker. For sure you will have 2 hrs to rest in quiet before dinner if you get here when you plan to.

Am I being blocked from your site again?

Sarah Jones Mosley on April 19th, 2006 at 2:58 pm

Hmm. I guess it was blocking again? No idea why. It’s some filter. I’ll ask N. Poker sounds great!

Thanks for the answers, Matthew. We shall look forward to meeting you.
