Brush it off and then treat it like a grass stain. You will need an enzyme-based (aka digestible) pre-treat made for protein based stains. You could also try a little rubbing alcohol. Use hydrogen peroxide last if the stain is stubborn. Good luck. A product labeled for pet stains or containing the word “enzyme” will fall under this category.

I’d get more Asiatic Lilly pollen and dye the whole shirt with it. : ) Sarah, Love Dad Somewhat unrelated, are asiatic lillies easy to care for? I’m interested in planting some.

If you haven’t tried Carbona products, I’d highly recommend them. And if my memory doesn’t fail me, they have one formulated for grass & pollen stains. Hope it works. :-) Good luck with that stain. (And thanks for the advice, Sarah.) We have those lilies at work, and we brush against them ALL the time, so we walk around with suits stained orange, at least, until the drycleaner gets ahold of them.

Thanks for the advice. I got the stain out, mostly. Shauna, I’ve never grown Asiatic Lillies myself, but in a vase they do last awhile. I’ve seen some yards here with them — they look easy enough. Post a comment
