Us with little Michael

…because they’d be wrong. Introducing Michael Eleos Enoch Mosley… born July 8, 2006, at 10:00 pm in Pensacola. He weighed in at 6 lbs, 6.3 oz and measured 18.5 in long. He’s a sleepy little guy, primarily because he doesn’t hear very much, or at least won’t until we buy him some ear canals. You won’t be able to see from the pictures we uploaded, but he hasn’t got fully formed ears (no ear canals). The initial prognosis is that he will be able to hear with bone conductive hearing aids, but we are supposed to go see a specialist in B-ham soon to get CT scans and more extensive hearing tests. Anyway, he’s in otherwise pretty good shape for a preemie. The little bit of jaundice that he has should clear up soon. We covet your prayers about his hearing, but we are quite thankful to have such a healthy little boy.

The doc says no more bedrest come Monday! So, what’s it going to be now, eh? Boy or girl? I am thinking any time now.

This is a pretty interesting diapering system — disposable while somewhat eco-friendly, though more expensive than cloth.
