I hate getting tons of plastic bags at the store. No place around here that I know recycles plastic bags.

Another thing, if you buy plastic products, then look to see if it has been recycled.

Food World and Publix recycle plastic bags, supposedly. You just need to drop them off in their bin.

Bring your own reusable bags to the store! I bought some Chicco bags the other week. They’re awesome. Each one holds 20 lbs.

So I thought to myself, “Hey that is a great idea! Why don’t I get some reusable grocery bags.” And then it hit me. I always re-use them… to wrap up and throw away non-biodegradable disposable diapers. Double whammy!

You are creating bombs!!! Probably.

It’s so dang frustrating that EVERYTHING is packaged in plastic. I was trying to figure out how to minimize using plastic. Maybe bringing my own jars to the bulk food store and having them weigh them first and then filling them with legumes, granola, nuts, etc? But the convenience-is-queen in me realizes I’m just not that organized. Yet.

Frustrating.

I’ll bet we create more bombs than you all!
