I used to have hopes of restoring Constitutional law until I heard that M. Vick pled guilty on FEDERAL dogfighting charges. Bet you never saw that one coming, James Madison.

NPR Reporter: “Vick’s statement seemed sincere. He did not read from a statement. Indeed, he seemed to speak, as he said, from the heart. However, he only expressed remorse for his part in dogfighting. He didn’t mention his alleged part in killing pitbulls that did not perform in the fight. So, no apology for that. He also didn’t take any questions. So, what we have here is an apology that was sincere, but controlled.”

Me: You’re right, Mr. NPR reporter man, he should have put on sack cloth and ashes. Think of the children!

Is he ‘aving a laugh?!

Ok, so the Animal Welfare Act is at least somewhat Constitutional in that it prohibits the interstate transport of dogs for fighting purposes. US Code Title 7, Chapter 54, Section 26

I suppose if I had to pick a candidate, I’d join the Re-LOVE-lotion, but somehow I’m not finding it within me to care about the sovereignty of states and the right to self-determination. I just want to worship my God and support my family. The rest can come or go as it pleases.
