Not if you consider this quote from the site:

Dr. Paul also believes that Americans could and would be far more generous with their money if they weren’t being taxed so heavily.”

When I said misguided, I was referring to the idea of giving food to the needy in the name of a political candidate. It sends mixed messages.

It sounds like the people planning to give don’t really know a lot about the people they’re giving to.

There was a homeless guy down at the debate in St. Pete (there’s an issue down there regarding tent cities and they were trying to get their plight before national media) and he was holding a sign that said “Ron Paul is my Homie”.
