In no particular order:

  • a statesman, not a politician
  • an honest man
  • a true “conservative” (some would say a libertarian, I would say classical liberal, but that’s a discussion for a different time)
  • an ob/gyn
  • a dark horse
  • pro-life
  • non-interventionist
  • Dr. No - because in his ten(?) terms in Congress he has never voted for a bill that he deemed un-Constitutional

You Won’t Remember This.

P.S. If Waking Life made you cry, this short will make you bawl and have a nervous breakdown.

I guess I like Ron Paul the best out of the conservative candidates in the field. He’s dropping a money bomb today in an effort to raise $12M for the early primaries. So, if you feel like it, go donate at his website.

We took the kids to an alt.Halloween party on the street of large churches (ecclesial communities?). They had a blast filling up their very small bags with the many incarnations of refined sugar and rocking out to the totally trivial puppet show. (I only wish that I had thought to take a picture of the poster of Jesus look-a-like in the Anaheim Angels uniform with the caption of “Coach.” (The puppets sang an adaptation of “Put Me in Coach,” in which they were sent in to the field (to harvest, one presumes))) Sarah dressed them as Tigger and Pooh.
