Military donors back Paul, Obama. [via ABC News] So the two candidates who are most against the Iraq war have raised the most from military individuals in 2007. Paul raised $212k, and Obama came in a distant second with $94k.

Ron Paul Google searchThis screenshot was taken at 0841 CST. It’s mind-boggling, but there is apparently no news of Ron Paul anywhere on the internet. Google says so, it must be true. The funny thing is, RP is supposed to be very popular at Googleplex.

Edit: This appears to be on-again-off-again. There must be something wrong with the Google database or something. One minute it’ll return thousands of articles, and the next it’ll be blank again.

Ron Paul is setting another record for online fund-raising in a single day, and he might even pass HRC’s record of $6.2M in one day. What stupefies me is how much money it takes to run for President. I say we just draw lots, and then send all that money to the inner cities to buy the poor man strong drink.
