Can anyone explain to me why Pat Roberston is supporting Giuliani - is it purely for beating the Democrats? At least, Bush made some promises to fight abortion. All Giuliani has is his response to September 11. That’s kind of a one horse show and should be, in my opinion, the least concern of the “religious right.”

In no particular order:

  • a statesman, not a politician
  • an honest man
  • a true “conservative” (some would say a libertarian, I would say classical liberal, but that’s a discussion for a different time)
  • an ob/gyn
  • a dark horse
  • pro-life
  • non-interventionist
  • Dr. No - because in his ten(?) terms in Congress he has never voted for a bill that he deemed un-Constitutional
