I am continually astounded at the peaceful, happy and content disposition of my little Jonas. Everyday he’s been teaching me by example how to be Christlike. His patience and cheerfulness know no bounds.

Jonas was on the couch crying yesterday afternoon and I asked Evelyn to go take care of him. I walked in to the room to see Evelyn’s shirt pulled up slightly and her belly button pressed close to Jonas’ face. I asked her what she was doing and she said ‘Jonas needs the mama milk. Evelyn gives him the mama milk.’

Well, thinking babies drink from belly buttons is at least better than thinking they drink from bottles, right?
