The racer you bought for Michael as a Christmas present arrived in the mail about a week ago. Here are some photos and videos of Michael enjoying it (and enjoy it he does!). I particularly like the click, click, click that echoes as the taxi and police car race down the chutes.

If you ask Evelyn where Michael’s hair went she says, “Ahhh! Daddy cut it!” Where is it? “Izz ouside!” I honestly still feel like I’ve misplaced Michael and some other boy is in my home. It’s a little unsettling.

I am continually astounded at the peaceful, happy and content disposition of my little Jonas. Everyday he’s been teaching me by example how to be Christlike. His patience and cheerfulness know no bounds.

Today Evelyn ran into the room and said, “Michael’s going to eat me! Ahhh!”

Later I was sitting on the sofa nursing Jonas. Evelyn came into the room and flopped around on the floor and said, “Mama, I need miiiiiiillllkk! Where’s my botttllle!”

I told her I was busy nursing Jonas and that she would have to go find her bottle.

“No, Mama. You find my bottle!”

I rolled my eyes at her and told her she would need to find her bottle. She got up and walked over to Jonas and I and lifted up her shirt.

“Mama, Evelyn will feed Jonas the Mama milk. You go find my bottle.”

Charming.
